Volunteers Make it Happen
Each volunteer will receive a T-shirt and an awesome experience. All are welcome, sign up today!
How to be a Volunteer
If you would like to volunteer for any of the following please e-mail Alan Siebenthaler at asieben@insightbb.com or call him at (859) 533-0849.
- Packet stuffing the day before
- Placing signs/marking the route
- Setting up coolers with water
- Parking assistance and vehicle traffic direction
- Registration and body marking
- Boat patrol/ferry
- Assistance to swimmer exiting the water at boat ramp
- Water station at bike start
- Water station at bike turn around (at school off of Rt. 25)
- Traffic control/direction at intersections
- Water station for runners
- Tear down and clean up at the conclusion of the event
If you're a volunteer
It takes a little time to get all the volunteers into position on the course, so please arrive about an hour early. Check in with Alan Siebenthaler or Ryan New when you get here.
The volunteers in particular may want to bring a comfortable lawn chair and a hat.
